SochGreen Period underwear is designed to help you have a happier, more comfortable period.

Each pair features a built-in absorbent and leakproof crotch panel, and are compatible with the Soch Period Underwear Inserts for customisable additional protection. This listing includes one additional insert, which has wings that snap around the crotch of the underwear to hold it in place. The insert acts as a pad and has layers of absorbent fabric, but no waterproof layer. 

The hipster style is comfortable, flattering and easy to use, and an environmentally-friendly alternative to disposable pads and tampons. Available in vibrant pink or purple, with purple inserts.

SochGreen Period Underwear can be worn alone for daily discharge, low-flow period days, very mild urinary incontinence, LBL and light postpartum bleeding. The absorbent, leak-proof panel runs all the way up the front and back of the underwear for superior comfort and protection. For heavier days, we recommend wearing them with the additional insert or with a menstrual cup, tampon or sponge.

Size Guide

If you are borderline, or between two sizes, we recommend opting for the smaller size for the best fit. 

Each insert measures 7cm across (excluding the wings) and 29cm (for size XS and S underwear) or 34cm (for size M, L, XL and XXL underwear) long.

How to Use

Your SochGreen Period Underwear can replace pads and tampons, and can be worn alone to absorb a light period flow or light urinary incontinence or postpartum discharge, or with one of the additional inserts for heavier days. They can also be worn in the days leading up to when you’re expecting your period to arrive to protect your clothing, and for peace of mind. It is recommended to change your insert or underwear every 4-6 hours or sooner if required. They can then we washed, dried and reused. 

Cleaning & Care

1. Soak your used SochGreen Underwear or Inserts in cold water for 30 minutes.
2. If hand washing, scrub by hand (do not use a brush) using a mild detergent and water, then rinse thoroughly to remove any trace of detergent. If machine washing, rinse the underwear with close water then place in a delicates wash bag and wash in a short cycle below 30 degrees Celcius. 
3. Dry your washed underwear and inserts in the sun, hung straight on the clothesline. They can also be tumble dried on low heat.

Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Do not dry clean. Can be ironed on a low setting.  

Material

Soch Underwear and Inserts have a soft, combed cotton outer layer (95% cotton, 5% spandex) with polyester inner layers. The underwear also has a built-in waterproof layer.
