Remarkable, early vintage Azzedine Alaia dress from Spring/Summer 1984, shown here documented on the runway. This rare and phenomenal piece is an exquisite example of Azzedine's earlier work. Semi-sheer, textured gauze in a beautiful shade of slate grey that sort of exhibits a sage green hue in varying light. Surplice, wrap bodice with relaxed shoulder and oversized, tapered sleeves that look great cuffed as on the runway or like we've shown here. Carefree skirt bottom that can be styles in a variety of ways. Wrapping waistline that snaps into place and holds it all together. The color and weight of the fabric make it suitable for nearly every season!
